Steve Schuffert Band
9 August 2005, Weimar, Schützengasse

With no special expections I went to the local students club last tuesday. Powerful rock based on blues was on the schedule!

And what a night this should become!
The band was The Steve Schuffert Band from Nashville / Tennessee. You might have not heard about them, but they already have a 15 year lasting reputation!

The three entered the stage, which was actually very small, and from the first chord on the mood was on the highpeak!
They've played a great 2 hours set with a short break in between and they rocked, very much so! They've had a lot of fun on stage, and so had the audience.

Steve Schuffert is an extremly talented guitarist and has a great set of pipes, a very unique voice.
Matt Carmichael is called "The Drummer From Hell", and if you saw him playing a solo, you know why! You remember John Bonham, Mitch Mitchell and Keith Moon?
Pete Tomarakos is a very outstanding bass player, his playing was the soul of the show, his groove made everybody going on, every foot in the audience moved to the groove. And what a solo!

I didn't expect much from that evening, but got one of the best shows I've ever seen!

If you like Southern Rock with a nice dose of Blues, this band is a must have!
